Current First Aid and CPR, Negative TB test results, must have a current Criminal Record Check as per Association policy, and a completed Physicians Approval of Health. Food Safe Certificate Level 2 is required.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills:
Must have cooking experience in a kitchen similar in size to Ironwood. Must have the ability to work as a productive and interactive team member, to deal effectively and calmly in crisis situations. Strong oral and written communication skills Must be physically fit, willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job.
Duties include preparing, cooking, baking, and serving meals and snacks, including those for special dietary needs and special occasions, in accordance with safety and health standards and the menu plan. Supervising activities of servers and bussers. Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of cooking facilities and equipment. Reviewing the meal preparation needs of the facility. Assisting in maintaining an inventory of food and other related items.
