- SUNRISE RESOURCES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT
- Sunrise Resources for Early Childhood Development is committed to working in partnership with families and recognizes the family and supporting environment as the most valuable resource in an individual’s life. Sunrise provides Speech/Language services, Physical Therapy Services, Occupational Therapy Services, as well as programs for Family Resources and Infant Development.

- FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDER COORDINATOR SERVICES
- The FASD Coordinator provides key worker support families whose children have been diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. These supports include: information and advice about services and supports (education, social services, financial resources, recreation, transportation, health, etc) and how to access them; strategies specific to the child and family’s needs; emotional support and organized parent to parent support; support to families as they advocate for their needs, attend meetings at schools, court or other services; provide FASD training and education in the community; identify gaps in service for children, youth and families affected by FASD.

- SUPPORTED CHILD DEVELOPMENT
- This program supports children from birth to twelve years of age, who have a developmental disability to fully participate in inclusive neighbourhood child care programs.

- COMMUNITY ACCESS SERVICES
- This program for children with special needs, aged ten to nineteen, provides opportunities for local leisure and recreational activities focusing on peer socialization and interaction. The program also supports children in their transition to adult services.
- RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
- This program is responsible for the operation of several staffed residential group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Each home has unique characteristics but share a caring, supportive environment to help people achieve their optimal level of independence.
- SEMI-INDEPENDENT LIVING
- This program supports adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own home or apartment. The staff provide assistance in daily living skills to include banking, budgeting/bill paying, grocery shopping, household maintenance, social and leisure, and personal hygiene. This program includes the operation of two assisted living housing locations.
- IRONWOOD PLACE
- Ironwood Place is a fifty-four unit senior’s assisted living community. This program provides a range of hospitality services that promote independence, choice and dignity to the seniors who live there, to include two meals a day, recreational activities and housekeeping services.

- RECREATION AND LEISURE PROGRAM
- This program offers leisure and recreation activities to adults with developmental disabilities who have moved from full time to part time employment or to retirement.
- SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT
- Through training in job search skills, interview skills, and job-specific skills, Supported Employment works with local employers to assist individuals eligible for our services in obtaining meaningful work within the community.
- PASSAGES DAY PROGRAM
- This program provides supports and teaching in the areas of daily living, social, communication, pre-vocational, recreation, and leisure and provides opportunities to access their community.
- NIFTY THRIFTY
- Nifty Thrifty is a second hand store which sells donated clothing and miscellaneous items. Nifty Thrifty provides job training and full time employment for adults with developmental disabilities.
- COMMUNITY LIVING MONTH-OCTOBER
- "Celebrating the Spirit of Community Living" is a provincial initiative coordinated by the British Columbia Association for Community Living in partnership with the Family Support Institute and Community Living British Columbia provincially and the Canadian Association for Community Living nationally. Community Living Month promotes community development initiatives dedicated to supporting and sustaining inclusive community living for children with special needs and adults with developmental disabilities.
