Sunrise Resources for Early Childhood Development is committed to working in partnership with families and recognizes the family and supporting environment as the most valuable resource in an individual’s life.
- Infant Development Program
- This program serves infants from birth to three years of age who are experiencing a delay in their development or are at risk for delay. Services are family-centred and may include home visits, developmental assessments, program planning and service coordination.
- Family Resource Program
- This program provides services for families on Sunrise Resources for Early Childhood Development caseload who have children birth to kindergarten eligibility, acting as a liaison and advocate for services in the community.
- Physical Therapy Services
- This program provides physical therapy services to children birth to kindergarten eligibility with gross motor deficits. Services include: assessment, consultation and therapy.
- Occupational Therapy Services
- This program provides service to children birth to kindergarten eligibility to participate as independently as possible in everyday activities. These activities include: self-care such as feeding, dressing, grooming, toileting as well as kindergarten readiness skills and fine motor skills. Services include: assessment, consultation and therapy.
- Speech Language Services
- This program provides speech and language services to children birth to kindergarten eligibility with communication concerns: articulation of speech sounds, delay or disorder, hearing impairment, developmental delay, fluency, feeding and swallowing disorders, voice disorders, alternative communication systems. Services include: assessment, consultation and therapy.
